PROJECTS
Collections From The Field

About:
During summer 2020, I founded Collections From The Field, a community-based, publicly generated project at the intersection of art and nature that offers a space for artistic contemplation and reflection on the Spring Creek Forest Preserve located in Garland, Texas. The project's mission is to foster deeper connections to land, build community through the sharing of creativity, and record the ecological and anthropocentric changes at the Preserve.
Refuse
About:

Refuse is a temporary art installation I created in the Fall of 2020 for a St. Augustine neighborhood. The installation is made of discarded building materials and upcycled items. To raise awareness for plastic pollution and waste in general, I helped lead a community wide cleanup in conjunction with the installation.
The Place Where Project

About:

The Place Where Project is a publicly generated project that explores the connections between people and places. This collaboration at the Nancy Winship Milliken Studio in Vermont is centered around unearthing stories from the public about experiences of place, exploring the language we use to talk about our surroundings, and finding connections to one another through shared experiences.
